Preparation for the audit, and attendance alongside you through it.
How certification works
Certification to ISO 27001 or ISO/IEC 42001 is carried out by an accredited certification body in two stages. Stage 1 examines whether your management system is documented and ready. Stage 2 tests whether it operates in practice. Surveillance audits follow annually, with recertification on a three-year cycle.
SOC 2 works differently. It is an attestation issued by a licensed accounting firm, covering either a point in time for Type I or a period of operation for Type II.
What we do
- We prepare the evidence the auditor will ask for, organised the way they will ask for it.
- We brief the people who will be interviewed, so answers are accurate and consistent.
- We attend the audit with you and respond to questions as they arise.
- We manage any findings through to closure.
Choosing a certification body
We can advise on selection, but the choice is yours and the relationship is directly with them. We do not issue certificates and we are not paid by any certification body. That separation is deliberate.
